This actuator from Schmersal is designed for use with the AZM400-B1 solenoid interlock to prevent access to equipment while dangerous processes are in operation. For ease of installation, you can move the actuator on either the X or Y axis. You can set a distance of 1 to 7mm between the actuator and the solenoid interlock for enhanced versatility. A light weight of 94g ensures that the actuator won't place too much strain on your equipment.
A solenoid interlock uses electromagnetic force to cut power to a machine when a guard door is open. It holds the guard door closed until dangerous processes have been completed, helping to prevent injury to personnel and damage to your machinery.
