The Diffuse photelectric sensor from RS PRO includes BGS (background suppression), excellent light reflection measurement sensor using background suppression technology providing stable and reliable sensor detection. The photoelectric sensor has an M3 threaded cylindrical barrel case shape design plus is IP67 rated (waterproof) making the sensor an excellent choice for use in harsh environments. What is the Diffuse Reflection Photoelectric Sensor

• Diffuse reflection sensors are used for the direct detection of an object when the light sent out from the sensor hits the object and is reflected back to the sensor receiver then the diffuse reflection sensor issues a switching signal. The transmitter and the receiver are combined within the sensor in a singular housing. The transmitter sends out a continuous beam of light which can be red light, infrared or laser light.
