RS PRO Plain Nylon, Hex Bolt, M8 x 25mm

RS PRO nylon 6.6 set screws are a type of fastener and can be used in various fastening applications. Set screws are often used in engineering, product design and repair applications, often to keep a potentially moving part locked in place. The set screw works by passing through a threaded hole in one component and butting up tightly against the surface of a second part on the rear side.

Hex set screws are fully threaded and can be used with a nut or in a tapped hole. The bolts are tightened with a wrench and are usually used with appropriate hex nuts and washers.
