Detalii Produs
This RS PRO foot bellows, also known as an air actuator, allows you to safely control electrical circuits from a distance in hazardous environments. When you press down on the bellows with your foot, air travels down the tubing to the switch element, where it expands a bellows in the switch and activates the electrical connections.
The foot bellows is made of sturdy, flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to endure the knocks and scratches that come with everyday use. As the switch and all electrical connections can be safely positioned outside of the dangerous region, it's ideal for working in wet settings where electrical switching would be a hazard.
In settings where explosive gases, vapours or powders are present, this component is a reliable safety feature. This type of foot bellows is commonly found in battery charging rooms, labs and garages.
