• FAQs
• Who uses these labels?
• Laboratory technicians for clear labelling of equipment
• Trained competent PAT testers - PAT (portable appliance testing) is the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. The Electricity at Work Regulation 1989 requires that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.
• Electricians and Plumbers for service, maintenance and inspection of equipment
• Quality assurance (QA) personal – quality control in manufactured products
• Why use calibration labels?
• It is important that all tools and equipment are regularly calibrated to ensure that measurement readings are accurate. Calibration gives you the reassurance that instruments are still operating correctly and within manufacturer specifications. If equipment is not calibrated measurements and readings may be wrong which means you may have to recall all products since the last calibration test took place. By using calibration labels, you know when to recalibrate your equipment.
