Need to monitor changes in liquid levels? Choose this float switch from Sensata Cynergy3. It's a submerged-type switch commonly used in reservoirs and with industrial wastewater systems. The body suspends in the water from the sturdy cable while the probe within reads the liquid pressure and converts it to an electrical current. The reading travels up the cable to the switch to activate it when levels rise or fall. This ensures that liquids stay at an appropriate level to prevent underfilling or overflow.
The body of this float switch is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which provides excellent electrical insulation for greater safety and resistance to wear. The density of the material also means it can withstand turbulent water currents up to a depth of 100m for use in heavy-duty applications.
Submerged type float switch for sewer and industrial waste systems and turbulent industrial fluids. Self cleaning switching element with 10 amp contacts, this makes the switch insensitive to condensation and humidity caused by fluctuations in temperature.
The Water Fittings Regulations (or by-laws 2000 in Scotland) are national requirements for the design, installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, water fittings and water using appliances. These require that all materials and fittings that will come into contact with supply water should be approved under the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS).
