This photoelectric sensor is a Compact background-suppression proximity device designed for industrial detection tasks. It operates on DC supply and uses a visible red LED to identify objects with differing reflectance within a short to mid sensing range, providing a robust solution for automated material handling and production-line monitoring in harsh environments.
A male M8 4-pin connector is fitted for standardised sensor cabling and fast connection to equipment.
A five-turn mechanical potentiometer spindle allows fine tuning of sensing threshold during commissioning.
A green LED shows supply presence and a yellow LED indicates received light status for alignment and fault checking.
The optical front is matched to detect polymethyl methacrylate and similarly reflective plastics using a 650nm light source.
A stainless-steel bracket is supplied to enable secure bracket mounting in panel or frame installations.
