This data cable is designed for communication and control installations requiring a single screened pair with a robust PVC outer sheath. Conductors comprise multiple tinned copper strands configured as 16 core strands per conductor to combine flexibility with conductivity.
The pair is wrapped with aluminium/Mylar tape with a 25% overlap and includes a tinned copper drain conductor to provide a low-impedance path to earth.
The sheath is PVC with a nominal 0.032 wall offering abrasion resistance and is available in slate with black print identification for easy circuit marking.
It holds CE, CSA and UL recognitions and conforms to CMG FT4 requirements for fire behaviour and relevant AWM/Style ratings.
Maximum pull tension is 33 lb and the recommended bend radius is ten times the cable diameter to prevent conductor or jacket damage.
