Micropoint 2 Emergency LED Luminaire

The Micropoint 2 LED luminaire is a high specification emergency LED light, utilising the latest LED and optic technology, providing a good quality luminaire for indoor use. The Micropoint 2 can be used for escape route lighting, or for anti-panic emergency lighting in open areas. This LED emergency fitting features an easy to install design, reduced power consumption and minimal maintenance, reducing costs without compromising on aesthetics. The innovative optic design used in this LED luminaire, efficiently utilises light from the LED source to provide uniform lighting distribution. This improves the performance and reduces the electrical power consumption. Pre-set light levels can be adjusted in maintained mode to operate as a security light, adjustable using a touch sensitive button on the luminaire fascia.

Emergency Light Fittings

There are two basic types of emergency lighting luminaires - maintained and non-maintained.
Maintained, these luminaires have the advantage of being able to be switched between the maintained function (lamp illuminated at all times) and non-maintained (lamp off until power supply fails), making them ideal for applications such as corridors, workshops and permanently illuminated emergency exit signs. The maintained luminaires also have the facility of being switched in banks of up to ten units.

Non-maintained, these luminaires are only illuminated on a failure of the mains supply. Ideal for emergency exits, switchrooms and storage areas.
