Ty-Fast® flame-retardant cable ties are manufactured in flame-retardant Nylon 6.6 which meets the UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. They are particularly well-suited for use in public areas and highly trafficked areas requiring low flammability and low smoke spread, where evacuation will be a design criterion. Examples include mass transit system vehicles and cruise liners (passenger and crew compartments), offshore structures such as oil & gas rigs, and civil engineering infrastructure works including tunnels, transport interchanges and all areas of public assembly such as concourses, shopping malls and sports venues.
