From Siemens the 5SV6 is a compact and space efficient AFDD (Arc Fault Detection Device). The key innovation the 5SV6 offers is the combination of both an AFDD and an integrated MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) into a device only 1 DIN modular width wide.
Compared to more traditional devices requiring 2 modular widths, the 5SV6 offers a space saving of 50%, allowing more protection devices to be installed into an existing distributor.
