MC79L00 Linear voltage regulator, ON Semiconductor
The MC79L00 series linear voltage regulator by ON Semiconductor is a negative voltage regulator. This family has a fixed output voltage of 5 V, 12 V or 15 V. There is no need for any external devices and is suitable for applications that require 100 mA. The ON Semiconductor MC79L00 range features the Internal short circuit current limiting and also the thermal overload protection making them a robust Integrated circuit (IC). Applications include on card regulation or where a negative voltage level with a small current output is needed. There are no external devices required for operation.
