Molex MediSpec MPC (Medical Plastic Circular) Receptacle Connectors

MediSpec MPC (Medical Plastic Circular) receptacle connectors designed for use in medical applications. The housings of these receptacles are made from Medical Grade PPSU that can withstand sterilization. These medical plastic circular receptacles feature an easy to use push-pull mating mechanism with a locking sleeve for quick and simple mating. The locking latch provides cable unmating forces of 50N min (D1 version) and 85 N min (D2 version). The terminal retainer assemblies of these medical circular connectors are factory potted providing a barrier against dust and moisture in all locations including unpopulated pin fields. Selective pin count and pin loading capability enable flexibility in contact usage and avoids wasted pins. The stamped and formed contacts for these MediSpec receptacle connectors offer a reliable electrical interface, high electrical performance and low contact resistance. These contacts can withstand 10000 mating cycles

These MediSpec circular connectors have lightweight plastic housings made from Medical Grade PPSU which withstands medical industry sterilization processes including autoclave, Ethylene oxide, gamma and chemical. Disposable versions are available with polycarbonate housings. These MediSpec medical plastic circular connectors are available in two diameter sizes making them ideal for use in a wide range of medical equipment applications. D1 diameter size accepts up to 8 circuits and D2 diameter size accepts up to 17 circuits.
