The ALPHA has been designed to fill the void between such items as timers, relay modules that can handle simple tasks, and PLCs which are capable of handling complex operations. In many applications relating to security, building management or low level automation, such a device is required. In these circumstances all that is needed is a supervisory device which is adaptable and flexible to handle a wide range of tasks; the ALPHA has been designed to fulfil these needs.
