Detalii produs

Eaton Bussmann Series Ferrule High-Speed Fuses - FWP

Eaton’s Bussmann series FWP ferrule high-speed fuses offer excellent cycling capability and DC performance. They also offer low watts loss in a compact size. With Superior current limitations, these cartridge fuses combine high-speed performance with a full range of protection. The FWP cartridge fuses operate at both short circuit and overload currents, providing complete protection for semiconductor applications.

What Speed is it?

These fuses are “F” speed rated, which is short for Fast Acting. This is also known as fast blow and is popular in general purpose applications. They are designed not to handle current spikes over the rated current.

What size is it?

These ferrule fuses are available in three compact sizes: 10x38 mm, 14x51 mm, 22x58 mm

What voltage is it?

These cartridge fuses are available with 4 to 100 Amp current ratings for applications where the system voltage rating is 690 Volts AC.

What is Breaking Capacity?

Breaking capacity is the level of current that the fuse can safely handle without exploding or breaking. The breaking capacity of your fuse should be greater than the fault current of your electronic circuit.

What are cartridge fuses used for?

• For the protection of components and equipment from costly damage used by over-current
• To isolate sub-systems from the main system once a fault has appeared

What is an overcurrent?

It is a setting where a circuit experiences a current that is higher than the normal operating current.
