An axial leaded wet electrolytic tantalum capacitor which has a novel cathode system for higher CV designs beyond the MIL-PRF-39006 drawing. This design includes a welded tantalum can and header assembly that provides a hermetic seal to withstand the harsh shock and vibration requirements of M39006.
