The ATmegaxxxRFxx SoC is based on an AVR 8-Bit microcontroller core integrated with a 2.4GHz wireless transceiver. Designed for IEEE 802.15.4 compliant WPAN communication and ZigBee mesh network operation, it can also support RF4CE, SP100, WirelessHART and 6LoWPAN protocols.
