The SIRIUS 3SE5 position switches are designed to ensure that the safety mechanism on protective doors cannot be deactivated. Also the multiple mechanical coding of these interlock switches virtually eliminates the possibility of tampering. The separate actuator is mounted directly on the protective door and moves into the opening on the switch when the door is closed. Once the door is opened, the actuator is removed from the switch and the NC contacts open breaking the circuit safely and reliably.
