RN4678 Bluetooth 4.2 Dual Mode Module
The Microchip RN4678 is a Bluetooth 4.2 Dual-Mode Module that offers Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Smart capability. The module is pre-certified, reducing time to market as compliance testing is not necessary. The module provides a complete solution that integrates a Bluetooth stack, integrated antenna and other circuitry into a compact surface mount package.
The RN4678 supports GAP, SDP, SPP and GATT profiles. Data transfer over Bluetooth is via transparent UART mode, making it simple to integrate the RN4678 with a microcontroller or microprocessor that features a UART interface. Configuration of the RN4678 is through simple ASCII commands via UART
Approvals
FCC, R&TTE, IC, MIC, KCC and NCC
