ADE7816, Multichannel Energy Metering IC, Analog Devices
The ADE7816 from Analog Devices is a highly accurate, multi-channel metering device. The device is capable of measuring one voltage channel and up to six current channels, allowing multiple loads to be measured simultaneously.
Incorporated are seven sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) ADCs with high accuracy energy measurement cores. Each voltage and current channel has a complete signal path allowing for a full range of measurements. The input channels also support flexible gain stage and are suitable for use with current transformers (CTs). Six on-chip digital integrators facilitate the use of Rogowski coil sensors.
