HFBR-1506AFZ and HFBR-2506AFZ Fibre Optic Transmitters and Receivers

The HFBR-x5xx series, from Avago Technologies, are full metal fibre optic transmitters and receivers ideal for SERCOS (Serial Real-time Communications System) applications. The transmitter and receiver devices are designed for use with 1mm plastic optical fibre (POF) and 200 μm hard clad silica (HCS). A metal housing provides a robust package which is designed to prevent optical port damage whilst also providing a high ESD performance. Optical data is transferred between numerical controls and drives via fibre optic rings, with voltage isolation and noise immunity. Ideal applications for the HFBR-x5xx include, specified industrial control data links, factory automation data links and voltage isolation applications
