RC1682-SIG SIGFOX Protocol RF Transceiver Module
The RC1682-SIG is an 868MHz RF transceiver module pre-programmed to work with a SIGFOX-protocol low-data rate, long-range network. The long-range (up to 15km line of sight) is based on a very high receiver sensitivity achieved by operating narrow-band with very low data rates. In order to maintain good coexistence with other transmitters, the amount of data that can be sent per day is strictly limited. Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) operation is also employed.
