Panasonic ZNR HF Series surface mount surge absorbers are suitable for flow or reflow, iron soldering. Moulded construction protects the surge absorbers from 'soldering heat shock'. HF surge absorbers are part of the Zinc-oxide Non-Linear Resistor (ZNR) range. Saving cost and board space, they can perform the same function as two back to back zener diodes and a parallel connected capacitor.
