The Atmel® SAM4L8 Xplained Pro is an evaluation platform that provides simplicity in evaluating the ATSAM4LC8CA microcontroller. There will be no requirement for any additional tools to debug or program the ATSAM4LC8CA MCU. The Atmel Studio allows easy access to all the features, and how to integrate the SAM4L8 in creating custom designs.

The Xplained Pro ARM Cortex M4 MCU series evaluation kit includes an on-board Embedded
Debugger (EDBG); GPIO, TWI and UART Interfaces; Atmel ATSAM4LC8CA microcontroller and two crystals that can be used as clock sources for the SAM4L8 device.
